On Tuesday 7th February 2006 Nicky Godfrey-Evans, of Cumbrian Discoveries, received the prestigious "Tourism Ambassador Award" from the Cumbria Tourist Board. This was in recognition of her individual contribution to tourism over a period of 30 years.
